Christopher is a below knee amputee who considers that having only lost five toes and an ankle is an inconvenience, not a disability.  He draws inspiration from those whom have endured far greater physical loss and that have achieved success with a spirit and attitude he respects greatly.

His amputation resulted from a traffic accident when he was 17 years old.  After many attempts to ‘save’ what was only going to be an impediment, he along with his surgeon, decided that amputation and a prosthesis offered the best option for mobility and an active lifestyle.  He has never regretted his decision.

Originally from Yorkshire in the North of England he migrated to Perth Western Australia in 1986 and has since become a very proud Australian.  A father of four beautiful children and a graduate of the Curtin University he runs his own architectural design studio in Perth.

Prior to ‘finding’ golf some 27 years ago he played badminton ‘seriously’, squash to prove his doctor wrong and ‘social’ cricket for fun.  He enjoys cycling and swimming for fitness and has a passion for his Reliant Scimitar GTE car. Christopher lives his life as far as possible ‘without’ disability and considers that attitude is important in overcoming adversity.
